We explore how every moment of his travels was its own avodah — each step, encounter, and pause filled with purpose — and how he teaches us to live with that same mindfulness and emunah in our own daily lives. From there, we follow Rabbeinu’s divinely guided departure: his statement “יש לפני נסיעה ואיני יודע להיכן” — traveling with faith beyond logic, the moment when his beloved talmid Rav Shimon fell ill and had to stay behind, and the mysterious visit from the Baal Shem Tov that revealed his next destination. We contrast the Baal Shem Tov’s unfinished journey with Rabbeinu’s completed one — exploring the deep lesson of gadlus and katnus, and why true aliyah sometimes comes not from knowing, but from surrender.
